After playing the role of a daring journalist opposite Dileep in Passenger, young lass Mamta Mohandas will throw her weight around in Jithu Joseph's My Boss.

Dileep plays a software engineer from Kuttanadu region who works under Mamta in an IT company in Mumbai. "Mamta's character is that of an Australian citizen and it is the cultural clash between them that adds colour to the love story," reveals Jithu, who has also scripted the movie.

Incidentally, Mamta is also the first choice to star as Mohanlal's boss in Joshiy's next. If Mamta were to take up the role, she would be playing an editor in a news channel in which Mohanlal is the cameraman.

Switching back, Jithu says that My Bossis a clean entertainer produced by East Coast Vijayan and the shooting is scheduled to begin by May 2012. Saikumar, Salimkumar, Suresh Krishna and Lena also star in the movie.

Jithu also has an investigative thriller with Prithviraj in the lead lined up for September next year. "It will be similar to a Hollywood thriller with action throughout the movie," he says.
