Mulberry Project launches brunch

LITTLE ITALY — Mulberry Project launches brunch this Saturday, June 18, with cocktails and food by chef Michael Camplin. Included are things like lobster roll sliders, lemon cornmeal pancakes, and short rib hash. Brunch will be served from 11:30 AM - 6 PM, with dinner directly after that. [EaterWire]

LE FOODING — Grub Street hears that this year's Le Fooding festival will kick off on September 17, with an outdoor concert, where LCD Soundsytem's James Murphy will cook alongside Inaki Aizpitarte of Le Chateaubriand in Paris. They're also planning a 48-hour pop-up where 14 chefs, including Andrew Carmellini, Brooks Headley, and Hugue Dufour, will trade off four-hour shifts. FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Zagat reports that Zak Pelaccio's Fatty Snack kiosks are now open in Battery Bosque. They're serving mostly desserts, including homemade soft serve, waffle sundaes, and shave ice. Open daily from 9:30 AM - 7 PM. [Zagat]
