Christina Milian is not ready to date

Christina Milian may have been separated from ex-husband The-Dream for over a year, but the singer and actress says that she is not ready to date.

The 29 year-old reveals that she is happy being single and is in a "good space right now." She told Star magazine: "I'm in a great space right now! I've learned to be strong."

The 'Dip it Low' singer has a daughter with her music producer ex-husband, Violet and says that she's the driving force keeping her happy. "To see her face keeps me going. I'm not interested [ in dating]. Right now, I'm really getting to know myself."

However, she does reveal the type of guy she goes for. "[He has to be] caring, loving, somebody that will be there and is funny. [But] I love single life."

"I'm very wise when I make my choices - but I do know how to have fun!"

Christina and The-Dream split in late 2009 before officially announcing their separation in July 2010. The marriage failed after rumours of Dream's infidelity surfaced in the media.
