Wendy Williams:2 Impression on twitter

on Twitter-First impression: Wendy Williams is built like a battleship or an NFL linebacker -- or at least that's how she looks in a dress that appears to be a cast-off costume from "Ice Capades." If "Ice Capades" was entirely cast with skating, umm, escorts. Not that "Dancing with the Stars" has set the wardrobe bar too high. (She looks much better in the rehearsal footage -- where the wrong clothes are not calling attention to all the wrong body parts).

Second impression: Williams' cha cha cha is about as good as her talk show which, if you catch our drift, is about two steps below "Judge Judy" on our daytime TV-watching priorities list.

The dancing, as all three judges pointed out, was timid. Bruno Tonioli accused Williams of "marching" and the nicest thing Len Goodman had to say about her was "you've got your dumplings boiling over." (She totally did.) Carrie Ann Inaba said she saw "real fear" in Williams' eyes, but we saw something similar in partner Tony Dovolani's eyes, too.

Best moment: From the highlight reel (which Williams ridiculously claimed she didn't know would show her getting upset. Puh-leeze.), the moment Williams tries to dry her tears with her weave.

I believe Wendy can go all the way if she watches her performance back and learns from it. That lady has way to much sass to be intimidated. Never let them see you sweat, Wendy!!

She has a likable personality but she shouldn't quit her daytime talkfest gig. Looked like a sherman tank wrapped in gold foil and glitter. I was embarrassed for her.

wow- that was real badd, as badd as a family reunion dance at a cook out; i think she will face elimination; keep her day job but its supposed to culture people and if she learns some dance moves then she can use them with her husband - at home behind closed doors that is...
