Holland Taylor: Charlie Sheen’s Mom Says Nice Things!

While almost everyone in tinsel town is snickering at Charlie Sheen’s shenanigans and calling Sheen crazy, a maniac, or just totally out of his mind, there are some that – albeit very few – who are coming to his defense. One of them in Holland Taylor, the veteran character actress who plays the Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer’s mother on Two and Half Men. She said some very kind things about her ex-TV son. What did she say?

In a letter to the Associated Press she said “Charlie was cordial and polite with all of his cast mates and crew, sometimes even courtly — and always witty … We watched movies at his house occasionally — warm evenings with interesting, spirited conversation. This is the guy I know.” She added, “In this very sad and complicated time, I really have no comment beyond valuing my own history with Charlie, and my abiding affection for him.”

Sheen’s other co-stars Angus T. Jones, Jon Cryer, and Conchata Ferrell have yet to come out publically with statements yet, but it’s just a matter of time before they’ll throw in their two-cents.
