Red Hot Chili Peppers fans listen up – we’ve got some super spicy news for you all!
The Grammy-Award winning rockers have announced their brand spankin’ new album ‘I’m With You’ will drop in just a couple of months!
The hotly-anticipated 10th record, produced by music mogul Rick Rubin, will hit the shelves on August 27.
The follow-up to their 2006 release ‘Stadium Arcadium’ is an exciting new chapter for the band, as it’s the first to feature new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
Chatting to Rolling Stone magazine about working and bonding with the supergroup, who’ve been together almost 30 years, newbie Josh said,
"There was no real adjustment. This is playing music with people I admire and who have been friends for years."
And if a new record’s not enough to get you fired up – the fierce four-piece have also hinted at plans to tour Down Under!
When quizzed about their next Aussie tour, bassist Michael ‘Flea’ Balzary told Triple M,
"I think some point in 2012.
"We're not ready to announce shows yet because we'll probably get beat over the head with sledgehammers by our managers if we say the date but we are doing a whole world tour and Australia is in the plans."
