Heather Morris was never supposed to be part of the 'Glee' cast

Heather Morris is best known for the odd one-liners her character Brittany recites on 'Glee,' but her first passion is dance and she's pretty freaking good at it. Morris shows off some of her smokin' hot moves for Esquire's '50 Songs Every Man Should Be Listening To.

Morris, clad in a skin-tight, partially sheer leotard, shakes her groove thing to the likes of 'Heart Attack' by Raphael Saadiq, 'Rock N Roll' by Raekwon and 'Sofi Needs a Ladder' by Deadmaus in a seductive rock 'n' roll shoot that's a far cry from her days as a cheerleader.

What many may not know is that Morris was never supposed to be part of the 'Glee' cast. A dancer since she could walk, Morris served as a 'Single Ladies' backup dancer for Beyonce and the show's producers brought her her in to teach the cast the signature dance in 2009.

Those running the show obviously liked what they saw, and Morris has been entertaining viewers with her dance moves and one-liners on the small screen ever since.

I agree. At some point the line between real dance technique and thrusting your body like a stripper has been crossed. Dance and sex are two different things. This girl looks like she has never had a dance lesson in her life.

funny that you all are so critical. She's actually a well trained dancer and has been the choreographer for many of your favorite artist. She was actually hired to choreograph for the cast of Glee when the created the role for her. You pencil brains can't judge a persons entire body of work based on one video. go read a book.

WHAT? I don't know where you live or what Playboy mansion you live in, but she's got a great body! Stripper moves aside-yes, that's what most of those were-she is pretty. I just have one question. Can i have her muscular thighs? WOW is all i can say about that. It's nice to see somone with muscles, not just stick thin and then they call it hot!!

She was a dancer for Beyonce...and according to Kanye West (not that I like him)...best video of all time..Single Ladies...she was one of those dancers in the video....that girl can dance!

Uhhh, a dancer since she could walk? Really? Well, it seems she hasn't evolved much since her toddler years. That wasn't dancing. That was jumping up and down, throwing out a leg, thrusting her hips and swinging her hair around. I don't get what the fuss is all about (the fuss that the writer is alluding to). I saw her during her days with beyonce and didn't get it then either. She was awkward and rigid in her "dance" moves, not like the other backup dancers who actually had some rhythm.

Ummm why are your babies reading Popeater? Lol how about parents monitor what their child looks at before blaming everyone else. Get a life. Oh and yes I have a 9 year old daughter who does not watch things like this because I actually parent her.

Give it a break! Those aren't dance moves, just a long legged sexy girl moving her body, purely chemistry. Who rated this dancing, a bunch of men no doubt! It's an insult to actual dancers who have worked years and years at their craft.
