The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has activated the Ice Plan Command Post and is asking citizens to use caution when driving on roadways and bridges as weather conditions deteriorate.Many of those highways were seen getting slick in the evening hours Thursday night as a mix of freezing rain and snow began falling.
A 10-car pileup was reported near the I-35 / I-10 interchange in downtown San Antonio at about 10 p.m. Thursday. Other fender-benders also were reported by San Antonio police.
