Here’s the official announcement about DC Entertainment’s next direct-to-DVD (and Blu-Ray) movie, All-Star Superman. Arriving in stores on February 22, 2011, All-Star Superman is based on the awesome 12-issue comic series of the same name. This is Grant Morrison’s love letter to Superman. You could read this series two or three times and still find something new every time. It’s packed with large, Sci-Fi ideas and filled with beautiful imagery from artist Frank Quitely. Judging from the trailer, it looks like the visuals will resemble Quitely’s work.
