2.4x ultra-wide-angle zoom lens covering 109° angle of view. Come closer to a subject to capture the scene with wide background and dynamically described subject. It is also available as a standard lens because it includes an angle of view suited for candid shooting, etc. Furthermore, close-up shooting is possible at telephoto position. Optimal for situations such as interiors with limited space, architecture and landscapes, or when you want to emphasize perspective.

Nikon's original Vibration Reduction (VR) that even compensates blur in the viewfinder image

Vibration Reduction reduces blur caused by camera shake of still images and movies effectively in conditions when it is likely to occur such as at dusk or in low-light indoor situations*¹, even when you are using a micro or telephoto lens. Nikon offers built-in Vibration Reduction function in lens*². Unlike the vibration reduction mechanism employed in a camera body, it compensates even blur in the viewfinder image during shooting, therefore it is easy to capture a subject in a focus point achieving precise focus.
