Katherine Heigl, romantic comedy queen, is shifting gears. In the coming movie “One for the Money,” she plays Stephanie Plum, the heroine of Janet Evanovich’s best-selling mystery series. I am not too happy with her attempt at the accent but I am thrilled with the cast and just hope that “Ranger” is only chatty in the first movie, should they make another, and they keep with the books….
She is too glam for the role. She should have committed to the frizzy hair and Plain Jane attire. Stephanie Plum is a walking disaster! The rest of the cast are right on. Let’s hope it isn’t a disaster because these books are hysterical and I’d love to see the movies!
Sorry but if you have seen Heigl do drama in stuff like Grey’s you will know she can pretty much do anything. I would actually say she is a better dramatic actress than comedic – though I think she can do both.
Katherine Heigl is really stunning and very talented. She is incredible and she is amazing. It’s an exceptional performance, just wonderful.
