LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Christina Hendricks’ “Mad Men” character is expecting a baby on the hit AMC drama, but is the bombshell redhead ready to be a real life mom?“We enjoy other people’s kids very much,” Christina told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on the red carpet at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, when asked if she and her husband, “Body of Proof” actor Geoffrey Arend, are planning on having children. “We’re having fun right now.”
Christina rules the “Mad Men” roost as Joan Holloway — patrolling the ad office with her signature hip-swishing walk – and Geoffrey revealed his wife’s sexy show stroll carries over into her everyday life.
As for whether the 1960s, with its bold patterns, swept up hairdos and cardigan sweaters, have bled over into her present life, Christina told Billy she likes to keep things more modern.
“I’m very happy in 2011,” she said. “It’s just so fun to play, and of course the wardrobe is amazing and the style of the show is amazing. So that’s fun.”
