ORCHARD PARK, NY (WBFO) - As the old Astro-Turf was removed from Ralph Wilson Stadium, brand new turf is being installed. WBFO'S Eileen Buckley tells us about the process.Jim Dobmeier is owner of A-Turf. He watched Tuesday as his crew works to install a new playing surface. They began removing the old turf on July 5th and now are able to install about eight panels of new turf a day.
Dobmeier is a life-long Bills fan and season ticket holder. He's thrilled to have his product installed at the Ralph, and remains hopeful the NFL lockout will end soon, so players can step out on the brand new turf this fall.
