Karthi was so far very busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Saguni' and has now taken a one-month lavish break for his wedding.

Karthi, who is the younger brother of Tamil superstar Surya, says: 'All preparations are on for the wedding. I am happy and thrilled taking a major step in my life'.

Surya, his father Sivakumar, mother, and Jothika had personally been to invite Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden residence to deliver the invitation for Karthi's wedding. Jayalalithaa is expected to attend the reception.
