JLO & Marc Anthony Collections

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The news of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s marital dissolution on Friday continues to make headlines across Hollywood, especially because no one seemed to see it coming.

Back in May, when Access Hollywood visited Jennifer on set of her video, “I’m Into You,” she shared a story of how supportive her husband was, when Access asked what his reaction was when she was crowned 2011’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman,” on the cover of People magazine.

“All I can say is that he was very proud. We had a lovely dinner during that time where I had a bunch of people that I’ve worked with — my friends and he did a beautiful toast and was very supportive and we talked about how we’re partners and how, you know, anything that we do… and one of us succeeds, we both succeed,” Jennifer told Access a little over two months ago. “We’re a unit… He’s just great, he’s a great partner, he’s very supportive.”

“It’s not always easy, you know, in this business,” she continued. “But we always try to stay focused on what is truly real and important.”

When asked if there was competition in their relationship as both act and sing – Jennifer in films like the upcoming “What to Expect When You’re Expecting?” and Marc in “HawthoRNe” – J.Lo said there wasn’t.

On Monday, rumors attempted to link Jennifer to William Levy, the sexy model she starred with in the “I’m Into You” clip, but he quickly denied the rumors.

“Was Marc a little bit like, ‘Hello?’” Kit Hoover asked Jennifer of his reaction to her video partner, when she visited Access Hollywood Live in May.

“No,” Jennifer laughed, before adding that the Mexican actor was actually selected for the video by her cousins, who convinced her that William was the new “it” guy.
