Chupacabra In Helotes, Texas

June 17, 2011By ParaNikki Two new mysterious and frightening animal carcasses have been discovered in two small towns in Texas. First, the small town of Helotes, just outside of San Antonio, and the other in Stockdale. Drake Gifford, who discovered one of the carcasses, is quoted as saying “red eyes, big old fangs and claws coming out, just a sharp as they could be.” So what do you think? Real? Mistaken identity? Hoax?

If you ask me, neither of the creatures deserve the title of “El Chupacabra” a.k.a. “the goat sucker”. The original reports showed a much different creature and if there is something that does look like these things that still is in fact unidentified, then it’s time they’ve earned their own name. The first reports of the animal, and the ones that still persist in the more southern regions of the Americas, such as Mexico and Puerto Rico, reported the animal as being bipedal, with large eyes, spikes on its back and other distinguishing factors that don’t match reports from North American, specifically Texas.

All too often, the supposed Chupacabra reports from Texas and surrounding areas are verified later as misidentified canines, such as coyotes, that end up being rabbid and or having mange. To date, no one has been able to discover or record any true genetic evidence of a new cryptid. Until that happens, we’re simply waiting for confirmation to rely on. So speak up and tell me what you think of these finds and the subject in general and please feel free to share any of your experiences as well!
