Yesterday on The Bold and the Beautiful, Thorne was sure that Ridge had lost his mind when he discovers his brother is leaving Ridge for Taylor. Thorne has been left in the dark as usual about the details leading Ridge to his decision but all he knows is that Ridge loves Brooke and they belong together.Stephanie went to Hope's house where Hope tells her she will proudly wear her ring forever. She also tells Stephanie that she finally believes Ridge and Brooke are through and she is free to love Ridge. Such happy days for Taylor. Taylor is barely divorced from Whip--if at all--and it's heartbreaking the way she can move on so quickly. Whip adored Taylor and she's barely mentioned his name since he left her knowing Ridge would always be in the way.
Hope worries about her mother as she notices Brooke has turned her wedding photo upside down. While Hope understands Brooke's need to run her foundation, she is clueless about why she is naming it after Stephanie. She feels Stephanie did too many hateful things to Brooke over the years. Hope tells her daughter Stephanie has a right to hate her for what she did. Hope becomes totally confused when Brooke mentions Ridge is marrying Taylor with her blessings. It just isn't Brooke's way of responding to a crisis and Hope vows to stand by her.
Ridge stops by to see Brooke and they chat about how to handle their son. He mentions Taylor wants to get married quickly. Something indicates Taylor isn't totally free of Brooke because only yesterday she wanted to take things slow with Ridge--especially in the bedroom--yet now she wants to get married quickly. Despite the trauma she feels, Brooke believes this is all for the best. She tells Ridge that Connor had sent over the divorce papers and apologizes for hurting him. He wonders if she's remembered anything else about her time with Thomas on the island but nothing is coming back to her. Ridge embraces Brooke and kisses her. He tears himself away and she tells him she will always be his Logan.
Hope goes to the office to drop off some files for Steffy who is hard at work planning her parent's wedding. Steffy tells Hope she's surprised how well her mother was taking the news of the wedding. Hope claims she believes that wedding won't ever happen. She points out that Taylor and Ridge didn't make it the last time and Steffy blames Brooke for that one. Hope imagines things are rough for Thomas--if he is telling the truth and this stuns Steffy that Hope would accuse Thomas of lying. Steffy thinks Hope is desperate and mentions her family would not be taking a backseat to Hope in the future.
Steffy tells her that Stephanie was right when she said goodness and integrity always win in the end. Her mother had it but Hope's mother didn't. Hope doesn't let this go too easily. "My mother allegedly slept with your brother. Your mother definitely slept with mine!" she tells Steffy. Steffy indicates the circumstances were totally different for their brothers. Hope tells Steffy she should know that Brooke is Ridge's soul mate.
Steffy dismisses Hope by stating her parents would remarry but Hope isn't so sure about that.
