White iPhone 4 now coming “this spring.”

Apple’s Phil Schiller said in March that the white version of the iPhone 4 is coming “this spring.” Now that timeframe has been reduced to “the next few weeks,” according to a new report.

Apple has finally overcome the problems, including paint peeling when exposed to heat, with the manufacturing process of the white iPhone, according to Bloomberg. The device will reportedly be available from both AT&T and Verizon.

The white version of the iPhone 4 doesn’t bring any technical improvements, but Apple confirmed its existence in 2010, and constant delays turned it into a myth that many thought would never be a reality.

Of course, with the iPhone 5 launch getting closer and closer, the idea of owning a white iPhone 4 feels less enticing, but we’re sure Apple will find plenty of buyers for the device — if it ever actually hits the market.

What do you think? Would you buy a white iPhone 4, or would you rather wait for a (white) iPhone 5?
