Minor earthquake Tremors were felt in north India including Noida, Ghaziabad, North Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand Indo-Nepal Border at 5.01 pm IST.
According to news reports, the epicentre of the earthquake was at Indo Nepal Border (one report says epicenter at Hindkush Mountains.) The region falls under high seismic zone region.
The magnitude earthquake is 5.7 richter scale. Quake felt for around 3 seconds. No reports of damage or injury. The meteorology department said the earthquake is of moderate intensity. The impact would be feld around 300 km region.
