Former NBC head Jeff Zucker once called Tiki Barber “one of those rare personalities who appeals to virtually every audience imaginable.” Now the 35 year-old running back is attempting an NFL comeback following a four-year retirement. In the years between Barber’s promising broadcasting career fizzled out. He was never terribly interesting on camera, then he sealed his fate by stepping out on his extremely pregnant wife with a 23 year-old intern. Today show viewers hate that kind of thing.
Now he’s left attempting this ridiculous comeback in an effort to re-enter the public’s consciousness. After this falls flat he’ll be forced to develop a coke problem and shack up with Bree Olson.
He should be forced to endure a pimp slapping from every member of the Giants SB team. With the ring hand, of course. Eli gets three slaps.
Sorry, I can’t feel the hate on this one. Barber did me too much good in 2005. Anyone else who had him that year knows what I’m talking about.
I hear the Giants might sign him…as a punter, just so Coughlin can ream his ass out while on the field on national television every week.

Also, fuck Corey Dillon. At least Carson Palmer is professional about wanting to GTFO and is doing it an intelligent manner calculated to make Mike Brown look like the bad guy. You sir, were the definition of “doing it wrong.”
I’m not sure I’d put Corey Dillon’s face on a mountain carving of the four greatest rushers of all time — we’d call it, I don’t know, “Mount Rushmore” or something? — but the man had a handful of years there at the turn of the millennium where he was putting up 1500-1600 combined yards and 7-10 TDs a year.
Snake11s; easy butch, I’m not saying he sucked or anything, damn good back as you said, but that is a high and lofty list, I’m not sure I’d put him there. That said, being a Broncos fan and watching CD break the single game rushing record at, I believe, 278 fucking yards was one of the better RB games I’ve seen, granted it was against people who didn’t want to tackle him, but still.

That is a lofty list and the only one this old fuck didn’t watch on TV was JB. Jebus, I’ve been watching football for a long time. To me the funnest to watch, just because I liked their styles, were Walter, Sanders, and Dorsett. Too bad people like PK vote for HofF.
Dillon was good, but not great. A poor man’s Marshall Faulk, and it’s cool that he broke Payton’s rushing record, but I wouldn’t put him in the top 3 running backs at any point in his career. Even in his prime, Faulk, Ricky Williams, Warrick Dunn, Edgerrin James, et. al. were better backs than he was.
Getting back on track, Fuck Tiki. He was bland as hell on TV and had that eternal shit eating grin plastered on his dumb face. I don’t hate him for trading in his wife for some hot new muff. Shit, that dude is living the American Dream! Play pro ball; make tons of loot. Fuck an Asian. Dump her for some hot young white tail.
Agreed; Dillon in his prime was a good punishing inside runner, with enough speed that if you made a mistake he would hurt you. Not a huge part of the passing game, but a dependable yardage guy who would get short yardage against that defense. Garner was good, but I’d put him WAY down the list.
Man, you gents are hating BIG time. My motto is, never wish bad on another person no matter how good or bad they are. WHY? Simple, what if you were the one struggling, would you feel the same about your difficult time? My point is simple, Barber is human, he made a terrible decision to alot of folks, but, we ALL HAVE DONE WRONG IN OUR LIFE! Stop judging as if you are perfect and to be clear, I’m not a Tiki fan, I’m just a person who is against negativity and those who bask in others struggles. If you have this much hate for someone you don’t know, besides what the media says etc., then you may be the problem and not Tiki. We have no idea what was going on with his WIFE behind closed doors. Marriages work and some fail, he’s failed and maybe he could have left better but, we ALL make bad decisions, have any of you with bad comments?

It anyone signs Tiki it will be Zombie Al Davis, bringing Tiki and perhaps even the late great Sweetness back to play for the old Silver and Black. Tiki should have know better than to mess around with interns, we all know that there can never be a good result from havig sex with that woman.
It also disturbs me that Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis are #4 and #5 on the all time list. Sure they were good, but in the historic fantasy draft would you ever take them over Marcus Allen or Jim Brown, or per-knee destruction Gayle Sayers?
