Mike Anderson, Missouri Tigers basketball head coach, is about to receive contract offers from both the Arkansas Razorbacks and from Mizzou itself, according to reports by Fayetteville’s 5News and
the Kansas City Star. Anderson’s agent, Jimmy Sexton, has been active publicly in pumping up Anderson’s
market value, though
the coach of the “fastest 40 minutes in basketball” attack would certainly be a hot item regardless.
Don’t expect a decision to come in the very
immediate future, however, as Anderson is reportedly busy Tuesday with the funeral of a longtime friend.
Anderson has been with Mizzou since 2006, compiling a 200-98 record throughout his
coaching career and a 2008 Big 12 title. He’s led the Tigers and UAB to a combined six NCAA tournaments, including a
Sweet 16 and an Elite Eight appearance.
