John Cena fought against Alex Riley in a steel cage

The Miz Twitter profile has become a hot trend thanks to the WWE Champion's clever use of a cell phone camera on Monday Night Raw. He was able to snap the anguished face of John Cena as Cena faced Miz's protege, Alex Riley, in a steel cage.

According to WWE Characters, Alex Riley fought against fan-favorite, John Cena, in a steel cage match at the end of the Raw television show. At one point, Riley had the advantage against Cena, so The Miz came to ringside with his cell phone in hand. He instructed Riley to bring Cena over, which Riley did, smashing Cena's face into the steel cage wall. The Miz told Cena to "say cheese" then snapped a pic of John's face being squashed against the metal cage.

Monday's Raw results featured a clever use of Twitter by The Miz and WWE to generate some buzz before Wrestlemania 27. The Miz played up his antics on Raw to the fullest with several tweets sent a few hours ago including:

The first two tweets included a link to the pic Miz took on Raw. The third tweet referenced how The Miz beat up the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan, as he was trying to go to the ring for a match. The match never happened as Miz beat him up too bad, and then demanded the steel cage match between Cena and Riley happen.

The Miz was on hand to watch as John Cena dismantled his protege though. Despite the cell phone tricks, which also included Miz handing the item off to Riley to hit Cena with, John Cena proved victorious. However, the picture of Cena's face still wound up on The Miz Twitter profile. It can be seen here, and will likely add fuel to the fire as these two are scheduled to meet for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 27.
