Blueberry Smoothies Recipes:Splash of Soy Milk+Frosty Coconut Water Ice Cubes-Enjoy it!

Blueberry smoothies are the perfect antioxidant-rich, healthy treat. I put blueberries in my smoothies at every chance I get. I know how healthy they are for me – and a frozen blueberry preserves many of the nutrients found in a fresh berry. (Sometimes even better than fresh because most berries are flash frozen – fresh, at their peak of ripeness). This frosty sip is a luscious purple combo of creamy acai (pronounced a-sigh-ee) and wild blueberries. Acai is rich in antioxidants, fiber and omegas. Add in a splash of soy milk and some frosty coconut water ice cubes and you have yourself a healthy dairy-free sip that I know you will crave!

Acai. I really like acai for its tropical rich berry flavor. It has a dark chocolate-y texture and fresh acai blends up super creamy and thick – with a frosty edge.

It’s funny how my favorite smoothies always seem to be accented with blueberry flavors. Give this recipe a whirl. It’s so creamy – yet dairy-free!..
