Heather Locklear exercises seriously

Heather Locklear is "incredibly committed" to her workouts, says her former personal trainer.

The American actress is famed for her enviably toned body. Trainer to the stars Garrett Warren worked with the blonde beauty five days a week for three years.

The fitness guru says Heather's impressive body is the result of intense exercise and a lot of dedication.

"Heather is one of the nicest people I've ever met, but also one of the most professional," he explained to Shape magazine.

"She was always on-time, incredibly committed and very driven when it came to her workouts."

Garrett has revealed the secret to maintaining Heather's hot body. He says he and the 50-year-old concentrated on a number of key areas to keep her looking in top shape.

"There aren't too many areas you can pick apart on Heather because she looks so amazing," he gushed.

"In general, we just wanted to focus on the areas ladies like to focus on glutes, triceps, waistline and lower stomach."

Garrett claims that the most important thing about keeping fit over the age of 40 is a consistent exercise and diet plan.

He insists that people shouldn't give up at the first hurdle.

"Commit yourself for at least three months and don't give up on it!" he advised. "Just don't rush into things and do something big and hard right away - slowly build yourself up."source
