Edison Chen's career as a singer-actor may soon hit the skids, no thanks to his philandering lifestyle.

His boss and other senior figures in the Hong Kong entertainment industry have been reported to be livid after the latest scandal - where his affair with a nubile 16-year-old student model Cammi Tse - went viral.

Media mogul Peter Lam, who is the chairman of film production and distribution studio Media Asia Entertainment Group, is said to have stopped backing Chen and his multimedia production company Clot Media Division (CMD), Hong Kong media reported.

Since the current scandal broke - just six months after Chen's break-up with his girlfriend Vincy Yeung - Tse has become a target of Hong Kong's paparazzi.

Reporters began tailing her from 7am, even following her to school. In an attempt to deflect attention, she wore a mask and black-rimmed spectacles.

When reporters managed to get a chance to interview her on Tuesday evening, Tse claimed: "We (referring to her and Chen) did not have sex, I'm only 16."

At a promotional event in Hong Kong on Wednesday, his face "turned black" the moment reporters broached the topic of Chen's scandal.

But when reporters asked if she had any advice for the 16-year-old, Chung's reply was incisive: The schoolgirl ought to study harder.source
