Fairy Tales List

Beginning in July, the Reisterstown Theater Project is presenting their rendition of William Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors as part of their yearly Shakespeare in the Park series.

The popular comedy is full of mishaps and disasters that occur when two sets of identical twins that were separated at birth, are finally reunited years later.

In association with the Reisterstown rec council, the Reisterstown Theatre Project’s shows are held outside at the Hannah More Park amphitheater, 12035 Reisterstown Road.

Auditions for the show were held in May in the Hannah More School cafeteria and the cast rehearses on stages constructed outside Frank’s home.

Open Space Arts spokeswoman Katie Ganem used terms like “absurd,” “dark,” and “physically comedic” to describe the genres of the plays.

Additionally, Liberty Showcase Theatre is presenting Roger’s and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” through July at New Town High School in Owings Mills.
