Lompoc High School Drama will feature Disney’s Aladdin

Disney’s Aladdin: Lompoc High School Drama will feature Disney’s Aladdin (Dual Language Edition) at 7:30 p.m. on March 18-20 and 25-26 in the Lompoc High Little Theatre.

This feature beloved Disney classic has been adapted for play in English and Spanish speaking audience, so that the “Whole New World” you loved as celebrated as “The Perfect UN Mundo”.

In this version of “Aladdin,” a back story has been added to enhance the plot with the involvement of the two languages. The city of Agrabah has been divided by the evil Jafar between the poor and the rich by a language barrier, forcing the royalty to communicate with the peasants through translators.

“Aladdin” is definitely a show for the whole family to enjoy as the energy released by this reduction of more than 30 performers will captivate audiences of all ages.

In addition to its pure entertainment value, Aladdin examines some serious themes, in particular, the theme of freedom, leaving the audience to think about and discuss how they leave the theater.

All performances will be held at the Lompoc High School Little Theatre. The show, its first amazing weekend done, runs two more weekends: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 18 to 20 and March 25 to 26. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee (this weekend only) will begin at 2 p.m.

Home opens for first-come, first-served seating 30 minutes prior to curtain. Presale tickets are $ 6 for students (at any age, including college) and $ 9 for adults.
