"We were at my parents' place after my shift last Friday night. My parents and I were having a laugh in the living room," she recounted. Glenn called her into one of the rooms pretending he needed help moving a few things - including the box containing the ring he customised to his own design.
"By the time I turned around, he was on both knees. I did a double take! I was, like, 'What are you doing? Are you okay?' He was so shy. You could tell he was nervous and happy and excited all at the same time. He was, like, 'Will you marry me?' I was, like, 'Of course!'"
"I've been feeling like I wanted to propose to her for at least the past half a year. It just felt right," said Glenn. "I knew I was really serious about her and I loved her a lot and she was The One. At the same time, I was thinking, should I get married again? There was a little bit of hesitation there. I needed to think about it very, very carefully, and I did."
The 40-year-old Morning Express DJ added: "She's a really good girl. She's kind. She's just got a really good heart. I can feel it. Over the past two-and-a-half years or so, I've felt the same way about her from Day 1 ... Can't get enough of her."
The feeling is palpably mutual. "He's extremely genuine and kind, and obviously adores me so much," said Jean of her man. "I know that he will put in his best and be loyal and faithful and kind."
As for the wedding, Jean said no date and plans have been set as yet. "I'm honestly going to be happy even if we just register our marriage," said the 33-year-old, who hosts Cartunes with Bobby Tonelli. "I think a lot of people place emphasis on the wedding and things like that, but I don't. I'm just happy to be with him."
