Abhishek Bachchan will be a father

Abhishek Bachchan’s father, Amitabh posted a message on his Twitter page saying that soon, he is going to be a grandpa: “I am going to become a grandfather! Aishwarya is expecting! So happy and thrilled!”

Indian actress Aishwarya Rai, who is 37, and actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is 35, got announced their engagement in January 2007 and married a few months later on April 20. This is going to be their first child. Their wedding ceremony was a private one and was held at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai.

The wedding ceremony was held in accordance to the traditional hindu rites of the Blunt community, to which Rai belongs. There were also two ceremonies held as well: the Token North Indian ceremony and the Bengali ceremony.

The couple has always been reported as a “supercouple” in the Indian media. They appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show on September 28, 2009.

Aishwarya Rai participated at the Miss Word contest in 1994 and was crowned Miss World. The gorgeous actress has often been referred to as “the most beautiful woman in the world. Born on November 1, 1973, she worked as a model before stepping into an acting career in 1997. Her first acting success has been Jeans in 1998. One year later she gained the attention of Bollywood starring in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Her personal life wasn’t always pink. In 1999 she began dating famous Indian actor Salman Kahn. Two years later they broke up because of his “abuse” – on a verbal, physical and emotional level) “infidelity and indignity” as Rai stated. Kahn denied having hit her.

Abhishek Bachchan is not only an actor, but a producer as well. He debuted with Refugee in 2000 and had the biggest success with Yuva in 2004 . He won his first National Film Award as the producer of Paa in 2010.
