Classic Ice Cream Sundae Recipe For 119th Anniversary of the First Documented

This is not a recipe as such, more of a guideline. Quantities are up to you.

What you'll need:-

Your favourite classic vanilla ice cream - preferably a good quality one.
A good chocolate sauce
Chopped nuts
Whipped cream
Maraschino Cherries

These look best served in tall clear Parfait glasses but if you don't have any they taste just as good served in bowls.

Drizzle a little chocolate sauce in the bottom of each glass or bowl. Place a scoop of ice cream on top. Drizzle a little more chocolate sauce over ice cream. Place another scoop of ice cream on top. Finally, another drizzle of chocolate sauce, some chopped nuts. Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

Mmmm, so good!
