Mariah Carey Referring to Her Birthday as Her "Anniversary"

Mariah Carey took time out from rushing to the hospital because she was having contractions ... to tweet about rushing to the hospital because she was having contractions.

All turned out to be well, with Mariah tweeting, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!"

It's worth noting -- March 27 is Mariah's birthday, not her anniversary -- but for reasons that defy explanation, she has taken to calling her "birthday" her "anniversary."

Anniversary of the day craziness was born. And on a side-note...Good lord, I hate Twitter. I understand the need for shorthand, but if people can't spell, they shouldn't be allowed to have an account.

It IS an Anniversary of sorts. Anniversary of the day she was born. I have those kinds of parties . But then again i celebrate my Birthday for a WHOLE WEEK.

How she could find someone to mate with her defies explanation. Another prime example of a celebrity that's having a kid that shouldn't. Maybe Angelina and Brad can adopt it after Carey gets tired of it?

um people this late in pregnancy the twins would've survived but maybe their lungs weren't developed enough. she wanted to keep her fans up to date incase the twins actually were born. she's not the first celeb to tweet a pregnancy scare or birth Kimora Lee Simmons did when she gave birth to her son Kenzo in 2009.

You people crack me up...here is a woman that presents herself in a way that we are not ashamed of her public life. She is a clean woman with a great husband but you all take a shot at her no matter what she does, as if she is LOHAN. Give the woman a break and pray that the arrival of her twins goes well and they are healthy. Just bow your heads for a moment, "Father, we give thanks for Mariah and Nick, a married couple, brought together by YOU, and in the next couple of weeks will bless them with YOUR creations. We can only imagine they are both experiencing the excitement of this special day, as our own parents did as well on our birth.
