The first three-point basket that Ray Allen ever made was November 1st, 1996. His 100th came on April 10th, 1997. He hit the 500 mark November 11th, 2000, and it took him eight years to get to 2,000 made three-pointers. Allen's first three of the night against the Lakers, the one that would tie him with Miller, came with 4:14 left in the quarter, and the crowd simply lost it. He tried again on the next possession and there was a collective "awwww" when he missed.
The record-breaking three came with 1:48 left in the first quarter. Ladies and gentlemen, a new king sits atop the throne. Congratulations, Ray Allen.
