Indian Allied Digital shares down by maximum limit
1.Allied Digital Services Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 03, 2011 inter alia, approved the allotment of 55,450 Equity Snares pursuant to Employees Stock Option Scheme (ESOP 2007).
The stock closed the day at Rs.159.75, up by Rs.10.05 or 6.71%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.168.90 and low of Rs.150.
The total traded quantity was 1.73 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.32 lakhs.
2.Shares of Allied Digital fell by its maximum daily limit of 20 percent on ET Now reports of a search by income tax authorities as well as disappointing Q3 results, two dealers said. Income tax authorities searched the premises of the software services and cloud computing firm, ET Now reported on Friday.
Company officials did not immediately answer phone calls, when contacted by Reuters. Further, late on Thursday, the company reported a 27 percent drop in quarterly profits.
At 10.35 a.m., shares of the company were down 19.97 percent at 127.85 rupees.
