Blair Witch Project the best Paranormal film

Long story short: I felt was paranormal activity, but a more overtly commercial and compromise of The Blair Witch Project (1999), one where – in the final moment of surrender – the devil stepped up ahead of a video camera in extreme close-ups.

In additional words, all those people who constantly complain (and still complain …) they never saw the witch in the Blair Witch Project was awarded here by CGI compelling evidence of a demon.

BLAIR WITCH PROJECTParanormal Activity sacrificed his considerable tension and a sense of ambiguity — the real stuff of nightmares create – for special effects and unnecessary security narrative.

These feelings made, I would still rate the movie 2009, at least two stars on a scale of four stars. Some moments were truly inventive and performances, particularly by Katie Featherston, have been very strong.

I do not hate the original film, but the final scenes are simply not up to the possibilities inherent in a company found footage-type: that you do not see and understand everything because the film is supposed to represent disorder, chaotic life course. The cleanliness of the devil close-up movie spoiled, in my opinion, as did a scene with poorly staged a fire Ouji Board of capture.

Well, the inevitable consequence, Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) has made it on Blu-ray and DVD, and the enfranchisement acquires a 2nd chance at the apple. In many ways, this sequel accomplishes ably many difficult tasks that need a good result. When looking on the film, I felt that the writer Michael Perry (a veteran of the Millennium, American Gothic, among other classic horror TV) worked overtime to make a continuation that may withstand examination and be considered the equal of its popular predecessor.
